Knitting 101 with Marielle Messing
Knitting is a handcraft that reaches back thousands of years into the past, spanning centuries, cultures, and continents. Take your first step into this vibrant and creative world by learning how to cast on, knit, purl, and bind off. In this workshop, you will learn how to make a dish cloth and be given resources on where to find more beginner-level projects you can do at home, such as hats, scarves, and baby blankets. Yarn and knitting needles will be provided.
Marielle Messing is the organizer of Lehigh Valley Pints ‘n Purls.
This workshop will be featured at the Kabbalah of Life women’s weekend on September 9, 2011. More information at weekend.kabbalahoflife.com.
